March 9th 2020 Last Full Moon of the Winter

March 9th, 2020 is a very special day. It is the Last full moon of the winter season. This marks the ending of darkness, showing us even death isn’t eternal. This full moon represents the our first cycle where we all embrace the ending (Full Moon) to our new beginning on March 24th, 2020 (New Moon), globally.

The correct way to honor Luna in her fullness, is in pure gratitude. Most people don’t know that the full moon should be celebrated. Request should not be made. We give thanks to Luna, Gaia, and our Ancestors for manifesting the intentions we set during the New Moon at the beginning of this cycle.

Its called the Worm Moon, simply, because of the thawing of the soil. You may call it the Crust Moon. The top of the snow forms crust and refreezes. The Crow Moon is my favorite name! It signifies that the crows always appear at the end of the winter. For me it signifies the flight of our Ancestors emerging from darkness to usher in our transition to rebirth! I actually saw 3 crows squawking and bantering in the trees across the road. I love it when they show themselves as a witness to our life cycle, and that they are very much a part of it, even from the other side!

So freshen those altars and cook some food! Dance and play music! Go out into nature and feed the trees and waters! Give thanks! Volunteer in your community! We are on the brink of our rebirth GLOBALLY! Lets do our prayers in harmony my dearest sisters and brothers. Ending and beginning our next cycle on cue and correctly will reflect on our progress in our personal lives and in our community. *Omilola
